(Beijing, January 23) In the second day's competitions of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2008 International Weightlifting Invitational Tournament, Huang Huan of China pocketed the title of the women's +75kg class with a total of 269kg at the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Gymnasium this afternoon.

All together eight lifters competed in the women's +75kg Group A contest including China's Li Rongyan and Huang Huan.

In the snatch, Li Rongyan lifted 102kg and failed at 107kg. Huang managed 119kg to be the first at the moment while Greeks Aikaterini Roditi and Vasilika Kasapi finished second and third at 117kg and 115kg respectively.

In the clean & jerk, Li succeeded at 127kg and Huang made a successful final lift of 150kg. Aikaterini Roditi and Vasilika Kasapi's results were 137kg and 135kg tandem.

In total, Huang won the title with a total of 269kg with Aikaterini Roditi and Vasilika Kasapi of Greece finishing second and third with 254kg and 250kg respectively. China's Li Rongyan was fifth with 229kg.
